As the name actually says, Eco glass is made from recycled glass. An added advantage of Eco glass is that it melts at a much lower temperature and therefore requires much less energy for production. Of course, Eco glass is not completely 'crystal clear', there are often slightly more bumps in the glass. This is because there is always a bit of contamination in the recycled glass, but this characterises the artisanal quality of the mouth-blown glass. So beautiful and functional can also be green!
